The Biotechnology Innovation Organization (BIO) Convention is the world’s largest gathering of the biotech industry, welcoming members from every sector of industry and across academia and finance. The BIO membership was launched in 1993. In 1999 the event was launched to enrich the industry by providing networking, education, and partnering opportunities for research and application advances within emerging biotech companies, health biotechnology, and agriculture & environmental companies.
